I just finished reading the first two books of Grace Draven's Wraith Kings Series - Radiance and Eidolon - and felt an over-powering need to gush! There are SO many things about this series that speak to me on multiple levels. First, her writing. I am somewhat of a prose snob. I adored the book when I read it, but listening to Grace Draven's incandescent words uttered by marvelous narrator Gabrielle Baker lifted it to an entirely new level. The tail is epic, fierce and fraught with danger, yet the true heart and soul of Eidolon is the deep vein of abiding love between Kai prince Brishen and his beloved human princess.
